House Republicans are trying to find the right cocktails for tax cuts and new revenues to pass President Donald Trump’s “Big Beautiful Building” by anniversary.
Taxes on tips are politically popular and are a presidential important campaign promise, but the deficit-hawks coalition could block if the GOP can’t find income to cover the gap.

Trump is considering allowing individuals making more than $2.5 million to 39.6% from 37% to 39.6%, Fox News Digital reported Thursday.
Such a move will resonate with working-class Americans who elected the president. But many conservatives have signed pledges for years to raise taxes.
