In 2023, a Southern California man pleaded guilty to multiple charges stemming from a road rage incident in the Los Angeles area. He was sentenced to five years in prison, but was released 212 early last fall for good behavior.
On Thursday, he was arrested on suspicion of committing a similar crime.
According to the Honolulu Police Station, a 38-year-old man was arrested in Hawaii on suspicion of unauthorized entry into a car after first-time assault.
On Wednesday, the 18-year-old woman was parked in a passenger seat with her mother when she passed her and observed the speed of a grey Tesla. The words were then exchanged, and the man allegedly assaulted both women before fleeing with Tesla.

According to HPD’s arrest logs, the man was Nathaniel Radhimac.
In January 2023, Radhimac was discovered to escape from Tesla on the two highway before attacking the victim with metal pipes. A report from Carscoops found $30,000 in cash and some steroids in the vehicle.
It is not clear if he was driving the same Tesla in Hawaii.
He was also accused of not being convicted in other road rage cases dating back to 2020.
As of Friday, it is not clear whether he has been formally charged in Hawaii.
