The Garden Globe Strawberry Festival will return to this anniversary weekend to celebrate its 65th anniversary with four days of free family fun, food and entertainment.
The festival will be from May 23rd to May 26th.
The beloved community event, which attracts over 300,000 visitors each year, opens at its opening ceremony on May 23rd. The ceremony will feature celebrities, an introduction to VIPs and 2,000 free slices of strawberry cakes.

After the ceremony, fans can catch a screening of “Rookie of the Year” with a garden amp.
The annual parade will kick off at 10am on Saturday, May 24th. This year’s celebrity Grand Marshall is Cait Linder, a star of “Young and the Restless” and advocate for ALS and the Children’s Cause. Civil rights icon Sylvia Mendes, known for her role in Landmark’s Mendes vs Westminster, said it will serve as a theme for Grand Marshall.
Celebrity autograph sessions follow the parade at 1pm at the Courtyard Center.
Festival participants will be able to enjoy carnival rides and games throughout the weekend, local food and craft vendors, family-friendly contests and live music on two stages.

The first Garden Globe Strawberry Festival was held in 1958 and was held entirely by volunteers. Since then, the festival has donated more than $7 million to local charities that benefit young people, seniors and the arts.
