Police say a man who was lured from his residence in West Los Angeles during a reported home break-in after the suspect left him at a Montrose gas station was rescued.
Officer Eisenman from the Los Angeles Police Department confirmed with KTLA that the unit was dispatched to the 9800 block of Vikal Street in the Sheviot Hills area around 3:25am on Saturday, and that the unit was dispatched to investigate the home’s intrusion.
Officer Eisenman could not confirm whether the valuables were taken, but he said the man had been lured out of the house by four Hispanic male suspects who may have been armed.
The 46-year-old man is being asked by authorities and family after being not seen for more than a week
A criminal broadcast has been made regarding the invitation. However, the victim was dropped off at a gas station in the 2100 block of Verdugo Boulevard in Montrose.
The unidentified victim was able to call 911 for assistance from the gas station clerk. He was not injured in the incident.
The suspect is still outstanding, and detectives are actively investigating the lawsuit and searching for surveillance video.
