Two men allegedly strangled a woman and attacked her while the three were driving in Riverside County, officials confirmed with KTLA.
It happened May 2nd just before 11am in the unedited area of Blythe.
Lawmakers responded to a report of a battery in the 11,000 block of 28th Avenue on Friday at 10:54am.
Investigators learned that the victim, who was only identified as an adult woman, was traveling in a car on 28th Avenue with two men identified as 22-year-old Christian Urias and 24-year-old Brandon Hernandez (a resident of Blythe).
Details are limited, but authorities ultimately said while driving, “the argument continued in which Urias strangled the victim while Hernandez physically attacked her.”
No further information was provided regarding the attack, and only mugshot photos from URIAS were attached to the release of the Sheriff’s department.

The department then said it found two suspects in the 500 block of Donlon Street.
Law enforcement tried to detain Urias and Hernandez, but officials said they ran from the location.
Following his feet and with the help of Blythe police, the department said both suspects were safely taken into custody and booked at Blythe prison.
Urias was charged with assault on a deadly weapon and drug-related crime, while Hernandez was charged with battery and drug-related crimes.
This is an ongoing investigation and authorities said no further details are available.
