President Donald Trump approved former critic Jack Ciatalelli for the governor of New Jersey on Monday.
“Jack Ciattarelli is the first great American candidate running to become the next governor of a nation that loves New Jersey!” Trump wrote in a post on True Society.
Trump says Ciattarelli has become “everything,” and if elected, he will work closely with the Trump administration to grow the economy, cut taxes and regulations, secure borders, stop immigration crime, protect veterans, and help advance America’s energy.
“And Jack is also a Republican candidate and is the best position to turn his back on the radical leftist Democrats, and most importantly, he guarantees a big win in this very important gubernatorial election.
The agitator clashes with police and was made when members of the clergy descended to the Newark Ice Facilities.

Ciattarelli responded to X’s support, “I am truly humbled and honored to have the very strong support of President Trump today. Now is the time to unite our party, win big in November, and make New Jersey affordable and safe.” Ciattarelli finished his post saying, “When I’m the governor, we do that.”
It appears that Trump and Ciatalelli are turning new leaves. Ciattarelli was once a tough Trump critic, calling Trump “Charlatan” and in 2015 he said “not worthy of a US president.”
Mayor Newark has been arrested for assaulting a New Jersey ice prison for members of Dem Council to make a “surveillance visit.”
Ciattarelli appears to have changed his stance on Trump since these comments, and has even been seen shaking hands at Trump’s Wildwood in 2020 and taking photos with event participants.
Ciattarelli appears to have gained popularity, and in 2021 he came within three points, beating incumbent Democratic governor Phil Murphy.
He will now face conservative radio host Bill Supadere and state Sen. John Blumnick in the Republican primary on June 10th.

In a statement from Fox News Digital, Spadea responded to Trump’s support of Ciattarelli.
“Donald Trump’s support comes after years of efforts by Jack to lie about his own record,” Spadair said. “My resolve to fight for the people of New Jersey has never beenier, because that’s the best for the nation and ours.”

The New Jersey Democratic Governors Association (DGA) also denounced support.

“This endorsement is just a confirmation of what we already knew. Jack Theatrelli will put Donald Trump in front of New Jersey,” DGA Communications director Sam Newton said in a statement. “As governor, Ciattarelli brings Trump’s higher costs and chaos agenda to Trenton, rather than working to protect New Jersey’s freedom and make life more affordable.”
