Cathy Ventura takes the eyewitness stand – NBC Los Angeles

Sean “Diddy” Combs’ former girlfriend, R&B singer Kathy took the position of a witness in a sex trafficking trial on Tuesday, testifying to years of abuse and sexually exploited, the day after prosecutors showed her a video of a ju judge who had deserved her at a hotel in 2016.

Testimony from Cassie, Casandra Ventura, is central to the prosecutor’s attempts to portray combs to use his status as a powerful executive to coordinate a deviant empire of exploitation, force women into abusive sex parties, and force women into an abusive sex party if they refuse.

The three-time Grammy Award-winning lawyer claims he will not fall into sex trafficking or assault and will tell the ju judge that sexual conduct is agreed. Combs, 55, pleaded not guilty.

Cathy sued the comb in 2023, alleging long-standing abuse. The lawsuit was resolved within hours, but dozens of similar legal claims continued, touching on the criminal investigation.

Testimony from the trial began Monday. Combs’ lawyer Teny Geragos in an opening statement added to the ju umpire that Combs’ accusers are chasing his money, adding that while the ju umpire may think he is “jerk” and may not tolerate “kinky sex”, he “is not accused of being jerk.”

Combs has been jailed in Brooklyn since his arrest in September. If convicted, you can live in prison within at least 15 years.

Cathy testifies about “violent arguments”

Cathy, 38, told the ju umpire on Tuesday that she ran the gamut from when her relationship with the comb was good until it was a discussion and physical altercation. They met in 2005 when she was 19, and he was 37. He signed her to his bad boy record label and within a few years they began dating.

“If they’re a violent argument, it usually causes some kind of physical abuse and drag, it’s just different things,” Kassie said. Asked how often Combs became violent towards her, Cassie responded softly, “frequently.”

She leaves her with cunning, black eyes, “Combs crush me into my head, knock me, drag me, kick me, and stomp my head if I’m lying.”

Cathy, who is significantly pregnant as an eyewitness, was emotional from the start, taking deep breaths, and sometimes pausing as she spoke. She said she was 22 when Combs first asked to do a “freak-off.” She said, “I was confused and nervous, but I loved him so much.”

Over time, Kathy said she began to feel like she couldn’t say no to her “freak-off” request. She always said it was “deep inside me that I’m hurting him.”

“Shaun is a really polarizing person and is also really appealing,” Kassie said. “It’s hard to really decide what you need when he tells you what he wants at that moment. I just didn’t know. I didn’t know what was going to happen.”

Detailing on why she found it extremely difficult to reject Combs’ requests, she repeatedly repeated videos of violence and horrifying mail videos from the popular “freak-off” on the internet.

Hotel video is important evidence

In a surveillance video released last year, Combs, who had her at a hotel in Los Angeles in 2016, aired the video last year, causing Combs to apologize. The video, performed for the ju umpire on Monday, only wears a white towel to punch, kick and drag Cathy in the hotel hallway.

Israel Flores, a former hotel security guard, testified on Monday that he encountered a comb while answering a call about a woman in distress, spotting the comb sitting in a chair with a “devil-like stare.” Florez said when Combs offered him a bundle of money, he refused and said, “Don’t tell anyone.”

Earlier Tuesday, the trial resumed with Combs’ attorneys questioning male stripper Daniel Phillip, who says he was paid to have sex with Cathy while he was watching. Philip testified Monday that he stopped watching the couple after Combs attacked Cathy.

In a statement in Monday’s statement, U.S. lawyer Aide Emily Johnson said it included other women, including women identified as Jane, who was accused of attacking “Jane” that were sexually exploited and beat other women.

Judge Arun Subramanian said Tuesday that he has a tendency to acknowledge requests from media organisations. He said he was watching what the defense attorney described as pornographic videos shown to the ju judge as evidence of the case. However, he gives the party on another day to submit on this matter.

Combs is one of the most influential hip-hop producers and executives of the past 30 years. Bad Boy Records is a three-time Grammy Award winner who has worked with numerous top-tier artists, including Notorious Big, Mary J. Blige and Ausher.

He also created the fashion clothing line Sean John, produced the reality show “Making the Band” for MTV, and was a prime side like his white party prince of the Hamptons, who once captivated A-list celebrities and gossip columnists.
