A large crowd took over several streets in downtown Los Angeles, leaving a path of destruction late on Saturday night.
The video filmed numerous destroyer spray painting businesses, subway trains and even LAPD police forces.
LAPD says he received a call about five suspects destroying the interior of the metro train shortly after midnight. According to LaMetro, around 50 trespassers blocked two trains at the intersection of Washington Boulevard and Maple Street.
The operator and passengers were not injured and service was delayed for about 20 minutes.
Officers lined up in the area to try and disperse the crowd.
A neighbor who lives near Washington Boulevard told NBC4 he needed more protection and didn’t feel safe. A woman who chose not to be identified says her friend and cousin’s car were targeted by the destroyer.
According to LAPD, reports of vandalism have been made due to the incident and no arrests have been made.
In a statement, Mayor Bass wrote: “This type of behavior is completely unacceptable and we have no place in our city. We are in touch with LAPD about this and our office is reaching out to the affected businesses to provide our support.
