Elon Musk’s criticism of Trump Tax buildings causes tensions in the home

House Republicans Elon Musk criticised the “Big Beautiful Building” and GOP lawmakers were unhappy with the tech billionaire.

“This is why Musk has no place in Congress,” One House GOP Lawmaker told Fox News Digital that he has admitted anonymity to speak freely. “He wants to codify discretionary cuts. He couldn’t find enough wastedness, fraud, or abuse. [the Small Business Administration]It goes without saying that we will reduce our debts. ”

“This was a gimmick. He got used to it. He’s upset now. He’s playing the game, getting what he wanted, and he’s become like everyone else who’s too close.”

House Republicans last week passed a wide range of bills moving forward on President Donald Trump’s tax, immigration, defense and energy agenda. Congressional Republicans want to abandon the Senate’s 60-vote threshold and pass it through the budget adjustment process, a mechanism for passing fiscal laws, while keeping the minority sidelines.

Musk said it would undermine “CBS Sunday morning” and “work done by government efficiency (DOGE).”

He called it a “large spending bill” that would “increase the budget deficit.”

But Republicans of the bill argue that the kind of spending cuts that masks are looking for and the kind of doge outlined cannot be made through the settlement process. House speaker, Mike Johnson, R-La. He himself pledged in an official statement after Musk’s comments that House Republicans will work on cutting dodges, although a vehicle is different from the “big beautiful bill.”

The settlement deals primarily with forced government funds that Congress must change by amending the law itself, like the federal safety net program.

The White House is also planning to send a package of proposed spending reductions to Congress next week, including cuts outlined by Doge, which targets government spending. Discretionary expenditure refers to the cash flows managed annually by Congress through the budgetary budget process.

Other supporters of the bill, such as Rep. Nicole Malliotakes (Rn.Y.), said it focuses on people outside of Musk’s Wealth Class.

“The bill balances the right balance between eradicating fraud to achieve savings and not affecting citizens who rely on government programs. The biggest winners of change are not billionaires like Musk, but middle-class families who can see the bulk of their savings return in the form of actual tax relief.

“That’s the people President Trump and House Republicans have tried to help.”

A second House Republican who demanded freedom to speak anonymity told Fox News Digital that Musk “doed a lot of work” in Doge, but he insisted that he was wrong about the facts.

“So it’s not the first time he’s actually not going to handle the process,” the House Republican said. “So, as you know, we really need to burn the doge cuts into the budget, not through a settlement.”

Fox News Digital contacted the White House and Musk for comment via Tesla, but did not immediately respond.

On the other side of the House GOP meeting, the Finance Hawks, who also had problems with the law, were repeated, with Musk’s comments in the center.

“I share Musk’s concerns about the short-term negative impact of the BBB’s limited spending cuts on the federal deficit. The debt market is concerned about the total US debt and annual debt.”

Maryland Republicans voted “now” for the settlement bill last week.

“Hopefully, the Senate will take these concerns into consideration as the legislative process moves forward,” Harris said.

Rep. Warren Davidson, R. Ohio, a Republican from a Lonely House, voted against the bill and said, “Hopefully, the Senate will succeed where the moment has missed out. I know someone else will cut their spending one day and this Congress has been held.”

“Even though I wanted to take a step back and look at the total of the parts passed by 11 different committees, I was rushing to the floor when the bill should have been amended,” Davidson said.

Musk announced Wednesday that he was away from his federal role as his “special government employee time” was “closing an end.”
