The suspect was arrested in connection with a fatal stab attack in Orange County.
On May 24th, police responded to an argument at a 76 gas station at 3071 Edinger Avenue in Tustin before 5pm.
Officials have found the victim identified as a 27-year-old man suffering from a stab wound. The suspect had fled the scene.
The victim was rushed to Orange County Global Medical Center in a critical condition and died of injuries despite efforts to save lives.
Detectives later identified Jose de Jesus Herrera, 51, of Pomona, as the main suspect.
Investigations reveal that Herrera and the victim were involved in an argument that escalates to the stab wound. Police did not say whether the suspect and the victim were known to each other prior to the argument.
Herrera surrendered herself to the Tustin police and was booked to the Orange County Jail for the murder.
