The restoration efforts for the destroyed mural depicting Lakers legend and his young daughter, supported by the team’s latest star, are perfect.
The restored mural featuring Kobe Bryant and his 13-year-old daughter, Gianna, is located on the side of a building at the corner of 14th Avenue and Main Street in downtown Los Angeles. The mural depicts Bryant embracing and kissing a young girl wearing a Lakers No. 8 jersey with a basketball.
Lakers star Luka Doncic has provided a $5,000 donation to help restore the mural.
“Kobe is LA. He and Gigi mean this city, the Lakers organization, and personally to me,” Doncic said in a statement provided by the Luka Doncic Foundation. “I’m glad you did anything to ensure he and his daughter are respected.”
