The suspect is in custody after passersby witnessed suspected sexual assault of a woman overnight at the popular Santa Clarita Park.
Authorities received a 911 call reporting the incident around 11pm at Skyline Ranch Park, according to Molina, Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Office.
The agent arrived and found a suspect whose name and age had not been released and took him into custody.
The unidentified victim was found on the ground near the picnic table and taken to a local hospital in unknown condition.

The detectives work to determine what led to the case, but Molina says they were unable to get her account as the victim appears to be affected. It remains unclear whether the victim and suspect know each other.
Authorities will conduct sexual assault forensic examinations on victims and suspects, Molina said.
Skyline Ranch Park opened in the community about a year ago. “I’m amazed that it happened,” said Alfonso Guyron, who lives in the area. “Hopefully this time… because this is a great field,” he said.
The sheriff’s department is asking anyone with information about the incident and attackers to move forward.
