Dozens of people were detained by federal authorities on Friday in extensive enforcement work in Los Angeles, a potentially undocumented immigrant.

One of the businesses took place outside of apparel stores in the fashion district.

Sky5 was overhead the moment federal agents and demonstrators met outside an atmospheric apparel location in the 900 block of Town Avenue in downtown LA

A video from above showed that around 20 people were loaded into unmarked white SUVs and taken from the scene.

At one point, the protesters tried to stop one of the SUVs from leaving the place. One protester, who was pounding the hood of an SUV, was knocked to the ground and partially driven around by the vehicle’s driver, which turned and speeded.

The person’s condition is unknown.

Federal officials from both the FBI and the Department of Homeland Security were found in law enforcement raids. The immigration and customs enforcement agency, part of the HSI, declined to comment on any activities in the area, but the FBI confirmed it is participating in the HSI project.

The Los Angeles Police Department said it was not supporting the attack. This is in line with LA’s “sanctuary cities” guidelines that prohibit city agencies from cooperating with ice operations. However, activists accused the LAPD of indirect or direct support by setting boundaries around the law enforcement scene.

KTLA confirmed that the ice operation took place at a second-atmosphere apparel location in downtown Los Angeles and at Home Depot in the Westlake area.

US lawyer Bill Essayli and the Department of Justice confirmed to the media outlet Friday that it was the target of a business that allegedly hired workers in “fictional employee documents.”

Cameron Kishra contributed to this report.
