The progressive group “Indivisible” has been behind many Tesla protests in recent months, and mobilizing other left and right causes appears to be involved in major Congress swing districts with the goal of increasing resistance to President Donald Trump in Congress.
In a major race already underway in the 2026 midterm elections, the group appears to be watching Rep. Mike Lawler, a Republican who represents New York’s 17th District with extensive ties to the group, progressive Democrats and Rockland County Councilman Beth Davidson.
Davidson’s social media presence includes several posts that encourage Indivisible, including attending events in Rockland, New York and Davidson in June.
The front and center of other aspects of race were the center of other aspects of the group’s local chapters, which helped organize the protests at the Roller Town Hall events in April and May.

Fox News Digital reported on the local indivisible branch leaders in Rockland that are planning a Rockland protest in April. Footage obtained from Fox News Digital at the meeting showed Pascale Jean-Gilles, the organising committee leader, discussing filling the entire street in front of the event.
“It’s a long street and we’re trying to fill the whole street, so everyone who comes to the rally sees the people there and realizes that it’s not everything.
Prior to the event, Davidson said on X that more than 1,000 protesters were present at the demonstrations:
In another inseparable protest against Roller at the beginning of the month, Davidson posted to X, “I am proud to stand with over 1,000 people at #handsoff Rally, organized by @indiviswstchr @1199seiu @nwindivisible @cwaunion.”
“Mike Lawler may be silent about daily attacks on healthcare, education, social security and national security, but we are not!” Davidson said.

Former President Donald Trump will be heading the National Republican Congressional Committee (NRCC) Fundraising Dinner (National Republican Congressional Committee (NRCC)) held on November 8, 2021 in Tampa, Florida.
After speaking at one of the events a month ago, Davidson congratulated the “full event” in April 2025, accusing Roller of hiding from his constituents.
Bill Batson, a member of the Indivisible Rockland Steering Committee, gave Davidson’s campaign $250 through his own campaign committee, FEC Records shows.
In response to Indivisible and Davidson’s apparent cooperation, Maureen O’Toole, a spokesman for the National Republican Congressional Committee, has accused the Congressional race of “invading” the group of people of undermining Trump’s agenda.
“Indivisible has a new plan. Stop screaming outside the council office and start infiltrating them,” O’Toole said. “Their first attempt? NY-17, they support far left militants Beth Davidson to carry out their agenda.”
According to its website, Indivisible was founded in response to Trump’s election in 2016. The group’s website says it was tied together by a practical guide to resist Trump’s agenda. What’s inseparable is the movements of thousands of group leaders and over a million members who take regular, repetitive, and increasingly complex actions to resist the GOPS agenda, select local champions, and fight for progressive policies.”

According to a free beacon report in Washington, Indivisible’s presence in Tesla’s protests includes a “refund program” for local activists who appeared in the protests.
According to the New York Post, the group, which has received more than $7 million from the George Soros Network since 2017, has also been involved in protests to “repeal” ICE.
The group also encouraged police repayments.
Earlier this year, Indivisible published a “toolkit” containing recommendations to protest at the City Hall and the councillor’s district office. The section on “Fighting Elon” methods includes steps to plan and carry out demonstrations in Tesla dealers, showrooms and factories for Elon Musk’s role as the then head of government efficiency.
While many of the protests outside of Tesla dealers were peaceful, the rebel efforts have led to several instances of violence that have been labelled as “domestic terrorism,” including arson acts.
In a statement to Fox News Digital, Lawler campaign spokesman Chris Russell called for a relationship between Davidson and Indivisible’s “Disgraceful.”
“They had a Nazi image and anti-Semitism ratio at the rally, and promoted unfounded election conspiracy theories rooted in anti-Semitism on their website. I’m demanding that she condemn them right away.

Davidson denounced the image at a rally attending X’s post in March. “To be clear, I absolutely denounce the image on that poster. I will always be a voice for anti-Semitism and my Jewish community.
Roller claims that Davidson’s statement did not go well enough, in response to X.

Fox News Digital has reached out to the Davidson campaign for comment on the story.
Davidson was approved by progressive Mondare Jones, the last Democrat to hold a seat on Roller.
The NY-17 race will be one of the most closely monitored in the country as Republicans try to maintain their razor-thin majority in Congress.
Cook’s political report ranks in the race where Davidson is one of several Democrats running in the primary as a “Lean Republican.”
