California will sues the Trump administration over the weekend to revitalize the National Guard in Los Angeles County, the state’s Democratic leader announced Monday.
California Attorney General Rob Bonta in a statement claimed that President Donald Trump abused authority by calling Title 10. This is a law that allows the president to mobilize the National Guard in the event of an aggression or rebellion.
“President Trump’s orders call federal national security forces to Los Angeles, over objections from the governor and local law enforcement — and it’s not necessary and counterproductive,” Bonta said.

Bonta added that California had “no invasion” and “no rebellion.”
“The president is trying to manufacture chaos and crisis on the ground for his own political purposes,” Bonta said.
The California Attorney General’s Office said copies of complaints against the administration will soon be available.
