Homeland Security authorities have denounced Rep. Maxine Waters for “lies” about the peace of the riots and her efforts to force her to enter the detention center to meet detained union leaders.
DHS spokesman Tricia McLaughlin told Fox News Digital that access to the Los Angeles detention facility was “temporarily restricted” to ensure the safety of both detainees and uniformed personnel.
The 86-year-old 18th Democrat approached the security guard, saying, “Hello, hello, hello – I’m Waters, Congressman,” but the last person told her to tell her “official duties” and denounced the door.
“As a result, Congressman Maxine Waters was denied entry,” McLaughlin said of the exchange.
Maxine Waters untie the armed agent after knocking her on the door during the LA riot: “You better shoot straight.”
“The safety and security of DHS personnel, ICE agents and our custody people remains our number one priority.”
When D-Calif Waters yelled at armed guards assembled on the streets and asked if they were planning to shoot her, McLaughlin said the lawmakers’ efforts could be used better elsewhere.
“Instead of provoking National Guard members, lawmakers should be trying to ease these violent riots,” she said.
“Elected officials need to ease the dangerous rhetoric about ICE law enforcement.”
President Donald Trump had made the California State Guard federal government, but the waters accused him of not properly notifying Gov. Gavin Newsom in one clip of comments to reporters.
DHS also rebukled the look of Waters’ rebuke on television following her various conflict clips.
“This morning on CNN, lawmakers lied that these riots weren’t violent,” McLaughlin said.

“Americans can see the truth with their own eyes. The mob attacked law enforcement officials, threw rocks, burned American flags, put cars in fires, cut tires, and attacked taxpayer-funded property.”
“The violent targeting of outlaws in Los Angeles law enforcement is sleazy and Congressman Waters needs to finish it.”
Waters told Anchor Wolf Blitzer, “Everyone was wondering what happened.”
She said she was wearing a council crest on her jacket, but lamented that the guards hadn’t allowed her yet.
She called the protest in the immediate area “very small, very peaceful – no hostility.”
Waters also expressed concern that the assembled guards were armed, saying “Trump has incited all of this.”

“My message to Donald Trump, you are a cruel person — and you use the poorest people on the land to promote your politics,” Waters said separately.
“His ridiculous service took over an armed service to celebrate his birthday,” Waters added, referring to the president’s planned military parade, meaning the 250th birthday of the US military.
In a statement regarding the incident, Waters said he went to the Metropolitan Detention Center to check out Fuerta, who Say, who was described as a “violent sweeping” in one of a series of ice attacks in Los Angeles County, said he was “captured.”
Waters also hinted at another virus clip she produced.

“I begged [sic] Don’t use weapons against peaceful protesters who are simply exercising their freedom of speech and rights to protest in the heavily armed National Guard,” Waters said in a statement posted on earlier Twitter X.
“All people deserve to be treated under the law with dignity and legitimate procedures. Peaceful and non-violent demonstrations are important to protect constitutional rights.”
“The US president is a cruel and dishonorable person,” she said, adding that he and others would “fastly like to have an agent shoot someone.”
When filmed as he stood up to the public security guards on the streets, Waters cried out, “Are you going to shoot an elected official? If you shoot me, you better shoot straight.”
Fox News Digital contacted the Waters office for additional comment, but was unable to reach it immediately.
