A former US Sal federal building accidentally detained by an ICE agent

The US Deputy S. was detained briefly and mistakenly by immigration and customs enforcement agents in the lobby of a federal building that houses an immigration court in Arizona, federal officials confirmed last week.

While multiple sources have been cited when the incident occurred in Tucson, it is unclear that the Arizona Daily Star reported it was in late May.

The detention was described as an example of a false identity, with former US s-Service official saying in a statement that it “complies with the general description of subjects sought for the ice.”

Neither the Marshall Bureau, the agency operating under the ice, nor the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, identified the Deputy S or who they believed.

Reported by NBC News, the identity of the Deputy S was immediately backed up by fellow law enforcement officers. He was then released and left the building without further incident.

Details are not provided as to how the short detention unfolded, whether the aide was cuffed or whether there was resistance on his side.

The tactics used by federal immigration enforcement agents under the Trump administration are subject to increased surveillance and criticism.

Ice Agents have detained immigrants who attend court scheduled courthouses in federal buildings in Los Angeles, New York, Seattle and Phoenix, many of whom have no criminal history, many of whom reported.

Officials from both Los Angeles and Ventura counties say they see federal agents as roaring around public schools and are probably waiting for undocumented parents and children.

Who is rioting in downtown Los Angeles, demonstrators or habitual instigators?

Local restaurants, Home Depot parking lots, and other areas where many undocumented residents work or are looking for work are also being targeted.

The ice attack in LA led to widespread protests, some of which have been left to violence, vandalism and looting, prompting the president to deploy 4,000 National Guard members and 700 US Marines in the city.

On Tuesday, Base declared a local emergency in the city, placing a square mile downtown. There, for at least the next few days, the majority of illegal activities have occurred since the demonstration began under the curfew between 8pm and 6am.
