Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson said the US is more like the CSA than the US under President Donald Trump, and House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.) demanded he “speak” about what he called immigration enforcement “terrorism.”

On his weekly presser, Brandon Johnson mentioned, “What terrorism looks like, this is it,” and said there is a “tyrant in the White House.”

“There should be no doubt what our country would look like if the Confederates were to win. We see it fully on display,” the mayor said.

Brandon Johnson said the federal government is operating as a “book” authorities and that checks and balances have been suspended by Trump. Trump was accused of taking over the judiciary and using executive power as a hug against critics.

“They are hypocrites. They are dangerous. There is currently one branch of government in this country… Congress says nothing. And people are horrifying. But in the city of Chicago, we are wary of being smart about our existence and stay steadfast,” Brandon Johnson continued.

“This literally just uses the power of federal equipment to insert that will into the person currently in our country,” he added later in the press conference. “There’s no check and balance. It’s not present now. Johnson speaker, third Johnson [line]. If something happens to the president [he] They don’t even raise their voices as followers of faith and justice. These individuals are co-sick. ”

When he was questioned by a reporter, the aide was asked by him to shorten his questions, and appeared to snipe one reporter being called to him.

Chicago mayor calls Doge a “act of war” and compares the term Second Trump to the Third Reich

“Gees, I thought the theme of today’s press conference was ‘free speech,” the reporter simply pleaded before asking Brandon Johnson about accountability in terms of his loose immigration attitude.

Reporters said earlier this week that Brandon Johnson asked Chicagoans to “stoop” on the ice.

“You called [them]…To Fight the Ice – Many Chicagoans, including black and brown [residents]please tell me that it sounds like a call to violence. Would you consider withdrawing the call for violence against violence in light of the violence, looting, damage to property and attacks on law enforcement that we are currently seeing in Los Angeles? ” asked the reporter.

The mayor responded frankly: “I believe in non-violence.”

“Real Chicagoans are now facing tax increases because they spent millions of taxes on immigrants. Why do you think real Chicagoans should trust you to spend their money after wasting millions of them on illegal aliens?” the reporter asked.

The mayor replied, “We’re investing in people,” and quickly moved on to another question.

With one of the reporters being summed implied, Brandon Johnson’s approval rating at Windy City has achieved a crater over time, with some reports that it had sunk at less than 20% as of February, according to FOX-32, and is bordered towards single digits.

Chicago has not taken the Republican mayor since William Thompson resigned in 1931.
