A man was fatally stabbed in the chest during the battle in Orange County, officials confirmed Saturday.
The fight took place early Friday morning, according to the area on Rancho Santiago Boulevard and Hughes Street.
Lawmakers answered calls from several individuals fighting screaming in the area at 1:24am, and arrived to find what looked like a crime scene.
Dispatch quickly learns that a man identified as 24-year-old Sergio Esquibel Sanchez of Orange was stabbed in the chest and taken to a local hospital where he was declared dead.
The murder investigators then arrived at the crime scene and identified 20-year-old Melcher Areszi of Tustin as the suspect in the fatal stab wound.
Alesi was then arrested and booked at the Orange County Jail on suspicion of murder. Details regarding his arrest were not immediately provided.
