Investigations are underway after the body was found near a ramp on the LA County highway.
Officials received an appeal for the deceased person on or near the ramp on the 405 highway southbound in Vannuis, according to officials with the California Highway.

Video footage from the investigation, shot by KTLA, shows a wide area of the area monitored with yellow and red crime scene tapes earlier on Sunday. A white canopy was installed over the deceased as investigators believed to have integrated the area with the victim for evidence related to the case.
Officials from the LA County Medical Inspector were dispatched to the scene to assist with the investigation and remove the remains for transport to the county morgue.
