Transport Secretary Sean Duffy warned “Rogue national actors” who have not cooperated with ice or federal immigration enforcement that they may be on the hook to clean up their own mess.

With riots and fires continue to erupt in Los Angeles, along with confrontational demonstrations in other cities across the country, Duffy suggested that political leaders should work better with the Trump administration.

“USDOT will not fund fraudulent national actors who refuse to cooperate with federal immigration enforcement,” Duffy said Monday.

“And don’t expect a red cent from the dot – even to the city standing while rioters are destroying transportation infrastructure.

If the sanctuary jurisdiction does not cooperate, the agent says the agent will “ramp up” the attack

“We either follow the law or lose our funds.”

One state where Duffy’s statements are characterized is California. There, Gov. Gavin Newsom continues to follow between the Trump administration on the federalization of the California State Guard and the reaction to the mayhem in the second-largest city on the US streets.

“Our country’s ice officers have shown incredible strength, determination and courage to promote a very important mission: the biggest deportation operation in history,” President Donald Trump wrote to the True Society in a message that Duffy quoted in distributing his own warnings.

“Every day, brave men and women on the ice are exposed to violence, harassment and threats from radical Democratic politicians, but nothing prevents us from carrying out our mission and fulfilling our mandate to the American people.”

Chicago mayor calls Ice Raid “terrorism” and says Trump’s America looks like “The Confederates have won”

According to the message cited by Duffy, Los Angeles, Chicago and New York City could be ignored by USDOT.

“I want the ice, the border patrol and our great, patriotic law enforcement officers to focus on our crime-filled deadly inner cities, and where sanctuary cities play such a big role,” Trump told his social media platform on Sunday.

“We haven’t heard of the city of our central sanctuary.”

Additionally, Duffy said in April that federal grants are obligated to comply with federal law.

“It should not be controversial — enforce our immigration rules, end anti-American DEI policies, and protect free speech. These values reflect the priorities of the American people, and I will take action to ensure compliance,” he said.

Newsom spokesman Daniel Villazenor rejected Duffy’s message, saying, “Contrary to the misinformation, California will communicate and coordinate with federal immigration authorities when it involves an individual convicted of a serious crime.”

“Since Governor Newsom took office, the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation have coordinated the relocation of more than 10,588 individuals, including murderers, rapists and other violent offenders.

The spokesman said Sacramento will continue to follow state and federal laws, adding that Newsom’s efforts have been upheld twice by the San Francisco-based Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.

“[This] It will continue to focus local resources on crime prevention and resolution, reflecting the key balance between supporting community safety and effective policing. ”

Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson continues to criticize Trump and Ice for his actions in Windy City.

Johnson said the federal government acts as if it was essentially based in 19th century Richmond rather than 21st century Washington.

“There should be no doubt what our country would look like if the Confederates won. We see it fully on display,” Johnson said.

New York Mayor Eric Adams hit a different tone, but his office and NYPD said “Fox & Friends” and the NYPD have said people are “instructed not to prevent federal authorities from taking their actions.”

“So if you’re someone who’s sitting on the road and wants to block trucks, block pedestrians, or your parents want to go to work… that wouldn’t happen in town.”

Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass said CNN Trump doesn’t understand how much migrant work is connected to her city’s workforce.

“The chaos and fear caused by the attacks have truly had devastating effects and have been torn apart for our economy,” Bass said as he debated the protest.
