USBP Agents claim that arrests of a US citizen in LA County “a false story was pushed out”

Federal law enforcement officials claimed on social media that the arrest of a 20-year-old US citizen at Pico Rivera earlier this week had “stopping out a false story.”

The incident unfolded in the parking lot of a vast retail center that houses the Lowes’ home improvement store in the 8600 block of Washington Boulevard.

At least half a dozen federal law enforcement officials can be seen in the fight against a young man in the June 17 incident, obtained by the KTLA.

In the fight, you can hear someone scream, “He is a US citizen!”

The day after the incident, US lawyer Bill Essayli posted a video of the incident on his official government X account, saying the 20-year-old was allegedly punched “Border Patrol Agents after attempting to immigrate operations.”

In both videos, Martinez is seen in a violent struggle with a federal agent when he takes him to the ground and eventually detains him, but it’s not clear that it was allegedly attacked the agent, whether the young man is in an argument or before the video rolls the incident.

“Once again, the arrest of a US citizen in Pico Rivera, California pushed out a false story,” said Gregory K. Bovino, chief patrol agent for the US Border Patrol, in a post about an hour and a half after the post on Etherseire. “Don’t look at our words, please check it out [U.S. Attorney Eassayli’s] I’ll take that into consideration. The subject just captured a federal lawsuit for an attack on federal agents. Please don’t assault. ”

Martinez’s mother, Meira Villarreal, who was not present during the incident, said she believes her son is trying to do the right thing.

“Adrian is a very caring person and he likes to help people. I know that,” she said. “So anyway, I know that his intentions are good.”

The incident sparked demonstrations attended by hundreds of people outside the Pico Rivera City Hall, demanding more to protect citizens from immigration, customs enforcement and customs and border security attacks.
