Police are looking for a hit-and-run driver who killed a bike in South Los Angeles.
On June 1, the suspect in the Silver Chevrolet Camaro was driving westward on Century Boulevard in the Manchester Broadway area around 11:10pm.
Surveillance video from the Los Angeles Police Department showed the victim, Jose Villarrobos, 34, was knocked off his bike onto a busy road.
The driver continued to speed up and finally saw him turn right onto San Pedro Street. Officers arrive and find a badly damaged bike and a villain lying on the street. He was declared dead at the scene.
On June 18, LAPD released images of the suspect’s face and vehicle captured by nearby surveillance cameras.

“A driver will remember that if they are involved in a collision, they will need to be safe, notify emergency services and stop immediately if they continue to stay on the scene to identify themselves,” LAPD said.
A reward of up to $50,000 is available to anyone who provides information that leads to suspect identification, anxiety and convictions.
Anyone who may have witnessed a crash or has information about the incident will be required to call the officer’s Heard at 213-321-9681.
