The US bombs three Iranian nuclear sites and enters war

President Trump announced on Saturday that the US had bombed three Iranian nuclear sites, including the Fordaw site on the mountainside.

“We have completed a very successful attack on three nuclear sites in Iran, including Fordou, Natanz and Esfahan,” Trump posted to The Society of Truth.

“Currently, all planes are outside Iran’s airspace. A large number of bombs have been dropped on the primary site. All planes are safe on the way home.” “Congratulations to our great American warriors. There are no other armies in the world where we could have done this. Now is the time of peace!”

Live Update: Trump deals with the nation after Iran’s bombing

Announcement of US actions against Iran comes two days after the White House said it would decide whether Trump will be involved in the Iran-Israel conflict “in the next two weeks” to give a window into negotiations.

Trump gave a brief national speech from the White House at 10pm on Saturday, saying there will be more communication from the Pentagon starting Sunday morning.

White House sources have shown that the US had raised its head before hitting the Iranian site on Israel, and that Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu spoke after the strike.

It marked an important US entrance into the conflict that Israel and Iran had been in for nearly two weeks. He also showed a comeback by Trump. He said he had been seeking a diplomatic solution with Iran for weeks, and sent US officials to sign a contract with Tehran in its nuclear program.

It was not immediately clear whether the US had deployed a specialized “bunkerbuster” bomb that experts said could penetrate the mountains where Fordow is. Israel had shown last week that it had regained Iran’s nuclear program at least two to three weeks ago before it issued a US strike on Saturday.

The US was initially not involved in Israel’s first missile strike, but all eyes depended on whether or not they were directly involved in Trump. He became an anti-war president, denounced former President Biden for the war between the Russian Ukrain and Israeli Hamas, saying that those conflicts would never have started if he were in the White House.

Trump has asserted that Iran will not be allowed to develop nuclear weapons, and he has shown that Tehran will not be allowed to enrich uranium as part of any deal. These deals collapsed after Israel began bombing Iran more than a week ago.

Several Democrats and Republican lawmakers were heavily on Trump’s announcement Saturday night. Rep. Thomas Massey (r-ky.) called it “not the constitution.”

However, the majority of the GOP supported the president’s actions against Iran.
