After all, Nickelodeon’s Kids’ Choice Awards aired live with host Tyra from Barker Hanger in Los Angeles on June 21st, celebrating the best performers in children’s television, films, music and more.
In fact, Nickelodeon shows categories date back to 1987 and were originally created as a big Nickelodeon vote, but include fan favorite kids creators, favorite butt kickers, favorite comics, and more.
This year, Taylor Swift was nominated for two more orange blimps in the category of Favorite Female Artist and Favorite Songs. Meanwhile, Ariana Grande has won four nominations in the film and music category for her role in “Wicked.”
Other leaders in the nomination include Kendrick Lamar and Lady Gaga. The “Not Like Us” rapper has won by his side a nod from his favorite male artist, his favorite song from “Squabble Up,” his favorite music collaboration from “Luther” with SZA, and his favorite album from GNX.

Meanwhile, Gaga has similarly won four mentions on her favorite female artist, her favorite song by “Abracadabra,” her favorite music collaboration by “Smile With a Smile,” and her favorite album by “Mayhem.”
Of course, the biggest highlight of the evening may be Jack Black, who embraced the comedy award of Nickelodeon’s prestigious king. Prior to Rockstar’s School, only one other comedian won the title in 2023 when Adam Sandler accepted the Silver plane for his achievements.
The King of Comedy Award is one of the rarest awards at the Kids Choice Awards and is tied to Network’s Lifetime Achievement Award.
Who became slimmer? Well, last year, Kid LaRoy, Jerry Roll and Rene Rapp were gloved on green. And it was right that Jack was on the list, as Adam himself won considerable coverage after accepting the 2023 Comedy Awards.
