The guard, fatally shot outside an Anaheim bar over the weekend, is remembered as a husband and as a “guardian” and a father of five.
Salvador “Sal” Ramirez, 48, was found outside a sports lounge with 99 bottles and cocktails that injured a bullet on Sunday night.
Fountain Valley residents were rushed to a local hospital where his family said he was placed on life support but was asserted that he was dead the next day.
“Not only was a guardian, the monkey was deeply loving, selfless and warm. He had a big heart and was always kind and kind to everyone around him. At work, he was known for caring for female patrons, defending colleagues, and for feeling safe. His colleagues respect him, and anyone who respects his soul respects him.

Ramirez’s step-sisters have created the GoFundMe page to support the family in funeral arrangements, to support Ramirez’s wife and children, and the ongoing costs associated with “tragic and meaningless conduct.”
Police arrived at the scene on Sunday night and were unable to find the Ramirez murderer, who was believed to have fled on foot.
Murder investigators are asking anyone with information about the case to call the Orange County Sheriff’s Office at 714-647-7000.
