This weekend, some of Hollywood’s biggest names are joining forces for good reason.
Project Angel Food’s Lead with Love 6 Telethon will return to KTLA 5 on June 28th with KTLA 5 morning show Jessica Holmes hosting actor Eric McCormack and comedian Loni Love.
“All cents in donations during the show will be made directly to the preparation and delivery of medically tailored meals for the most needy neighbors,” explained Project Angel Food.
This year’s event will be unveiled by City National Bank along with Yuhurviatum in San Manuel Nation, showing extra love for Los Angeles following a catastrophic wildfire in January.
“The General Hospital actor Cameron Mathison takes viewers on an emotional journey through his home, smashed by Altadena’s Eton Fire and begins to meet Project Angel Food clients with “Ash” clients.
Barbra Streisand, Jamie Lee Curtis, Jimmy Kimmel, Jack Black, Sheryl Lee Ralph, Annie Lennox, Matt Bomer, Edward James Olmos, Nathan Lee Graham, Lori Loughlin, Steven Weber, and Wilson Cruz are among many stars who provide strong messages to deliver strong messages.
Of course, the night wouldn’t be complete without some music.
The viewers will be dealt with performances by Air Supply, Foreigners, Richard Marx, Cheyenne Jackson, M Beyhold and Jennifer Holiday. Pentatonix’s Scott Hoying and Loren Allred will also be performing exclusive duets.
Amy Jasbeck, Bianca del Rio, Duff Goldman, Gyi Rodriguez, Runell, Michael Hitchcock, Lawrence and Gregory Zarian will take your phone live into the air.
