R-Ky. Rep. Thomas Massie announced Thursday that his campaign had recently been carried for $177,394.
“Can foreign lobbyists buy seats in Congress? That’s my re-election issue. Of the 1,900 people contributed $177,394 this week, allowing this office to be held to represent American interests, not foreign interests.”
The flood of financial support for the fiscal hawk comes after President Donald Trump repeatedly targeted lawmakers on the truthful society.
“The biggest impact Trump has had on the other side of race is usually a decline in funding. In my case, we see the opposite effect,” Massey told Fox News Digital in a statement Thursday.
“Most of the people who donate to me are also supportive of Trump, but they strongly believe that lawmakers should be able to vote to represent the district, rather than seeking to look at it at foreign interest groups like AIPAC, rather than to the president’s rubber stamps.”

Rep. Thomas Massey arrives for the House Republican Congress meeting, which will be held at the Capitol on June 4, 2025.
The pro-Israel group returned the fire in a statement to Fox News Digital on Thursday.
“As Congressman Massey is eager to change the narrative from the way he is a candid opponent of President Trump, he relies on the patriotism of millions of American citizens, who are AIPAC members, including more than 10,000 American veterans and his own members. The vote with Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Bernie Sanders undermines his partnership with Israel.”
Massie wrote to Fox News Digital, “The AIPAC agenda includes endless foreign aid and involvement in wars in the Middle East. This contradicts America’s first policy I support on behalf of Kentucky. So they’re putting me through last year’s election cycle and threatening to spend more of this cycle.”
Massy, one of two Republicans who voted against passing one big beautiful bill law in the House last month, named Trump’s strike against Iran’s Islamic Republic “not the constitution” in a post from X last week.
Trump pressures Congress to pass “big and beautiful bills” and insists that “no one will do it until they’re on vacation.”

The president wanted Massie in Sunday’s long truth social post, calling lawmakers a “pathetic loser.”
“The good news is that there are some great American patriots running against him in the Republican primary. I’ll go out really hard in the Kentucky campaign,” declared Trump.
The president reposted his anti-Massy Tillade on Monday, commenting, “Let this ‘butt’ escape as soon as possible!!!”
Massy reveals the amount of cash he quoted in the campaign as Trump targeted him to expel him: “Fundraising Records.”

Then, on Tuesday, the president again targeted Massie, claiming that in a true social post, lawmakers were “very bad for the constitution.”
Massey pointed out that he supports Trump’s 2022 statement. “For those who want to know that @RealdonaldTrump really thinks about me, this should reveal things…”
