President Donald Trump said he is open to bringing up the nuclear program again to a level where he is concerned about the US, or to put forward an additional strike against Iran.

“That’s true. Definitely, absolutely,” Trump told reporters Friday. He asked about the possibility of a subsequent strike.

Trump previously issued a similar warning to Iran, saying at the Netherlands NATO summit on Wednesday that the US would not hesitate to move forward with additional strikes if Tehran tries to repair its nuclear program once more.

Trump denies Russia’s casual threat of arming Iran with nuclear weapons: “That’s Putin’s boss.”

President Donald Trump on Saturday said the US had completed a “very successful” strike against Iranian nuclear sites in Fordow, Natanz and Isfahan, and that the installation of Iran’s nuclear enrichment has “disappeared.” (Fox News)

Trump also denounced Iran’s supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, who declared victory over Israel on Thursday. Trump refuted Khamenei’s claims, saying he had escaped Khamenei’s death.

“Israel and the US military didn’t end his life, the greatest and most powerful US military in the world, knowing exactly where he was protected,” Trump told Friday in a post on True Society. “I saved him from a very ugly and ignorant death. He doesn’t have to say, ‘Thank you, President Trump!’ ”

Former Clinton official praises Trump’s “brave” Iran’s call, doubt Harris would have been nerve-wracking

“I hope Iranian leadership will find you get more often with honey than you do with vinegar. Peace!!!” Trump said.

Secretary of Defense Pete Hegses and Chairman Chief of Staff Dan Kane will hold a joint press conference on June 26, 2025 at the Pentagon Press Briefing Room in Washington, DC, USA.

The US began a strike late on Saturday, targeting major nuclear facilities in Iran. Iran’s nuclear facility involves more than 125 US aircraft, Chief of Staff Dan Kane told reporters on Sunday.

After the strike, Trump addressed the country, saying that the mission “completely and completely wiped out” the nuclear location. However, a few days later, leaked reports from the Defense Intelligence Reporting Agency issued by CNN and the New York Times raised doubts those claims, saying the strike had only retreated Iran’s nuclear program by a few months.

Russian leaders claim multiple countries prepared to provide Iran’s nuclear weapons following our strike

Meanwhile, the US, Israel and Iranian foreign ministries all say three nuclear sites hit by US troops have suffered major damage.

According to Defense Secretary Pete Hegses, the FBI is conducting an investigation to get to the bottom of the issue, indicating who shared the document with the media.
