The federal search warrant was issued by the U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) on Friday, resulting in the arrest of two individuals in North Hills, authorities said.
The operation was led by CBP’s special response team in the 16,000 block of Napa Street.
CBP says the search warrant was carried out at “a human smuggling hub in Los Angeles linked to national security threats.” Seven Iranian nationals on the FBI watch list earlier this week were arrested at the same address earlier this week, according to CBP.

“The location has been repeatedly used in connection with terrorism and to embrace illegal entrants, including foreigners who have been flagged on the FBI’s terrorist watch list. Intelligence shows that smuggling networks have trafficked individuals from hostile risks, including Iran.
