Project Angel Food’s “Lead With Love 6” Telethon is broadcast on KTLA and brings together many celebrities to support the nonprofit’s mission to provide medically tailored meals to those in critical condition. Now a key annual event, Telethon aims to raise funds to continue and expand Project Angel Food’s critical services.
The “Lead With Love” telethon was born in 2020 as a key lifeline during the pandemic and has since evolved into a star-studded tribute to Los Angeles’ compassion and resilience. Over the years, more than 200 celebrities have gathered, including notable figures such as Oprah Winfrey, Elton John, Carol Burnett, Ringo Starr, Sharon Stone, and Magic Johnson.

“Lead with Love 6” is hosted by KTLA morning anchor Jessica Holmes and co-hosted by comedian Roni Love and actor Eric McCormack. The event highlights the story of resilience and the influence of Project Angel Food’s work.
“The General Hospital actor Cameron Mathison takes viewers back on an emotional journey of “strength, solidarity, hopes that Project Angel Food will lead to loss,” meeting Project Angel Food clients “in the ashes.”
Barbra Streisand, Jamie Lee Curtis, Jimmy Kimmel, Jack Black, Sheryl Lee Ralph, Annie Lennox, Matt Bomer, Edward James Olmos, Nathan Lee Graham, Lori Loughlin, Steven Weber and Wilson Cruz are among many stars that provide a powerful message.
All donations collected during the telethon directly contribute to the preparation and delivery of medically coordinated meals to those in the most needy.
Project Angel Food also actively seeks volunteers to support meal preparation and delivery, client outreach and other outreach efforts, highlighting the community-wide efforts behind its mission.
