The man remains in danger after being hit by an Orange County hit-and-run driver.
On June 27, Orange County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a crash near Lacresta Drive and Silver Lantern Street in Dana Point just before 10pm.
Deputies discovered the victim identified as a man in his 40s and were injured at the scene. He was taken to the hospital where he remained in a critical state.
The suspect fled the area in a vehicle called a silver or beige sedan that damaged the rear passenger side.
Grainy footage from the nearest surveillance cameras failed to capture clear details of the vehicle as it traveled.

Investigators say there is another occupying vehicle found near the crash site, and residents are believed to have additional information.
