This summer, Big Bear Lake may be the ideal place to visit for anyone looking for an activity that combines the twists of “wipe-out” TV shows.
The new floating water park has opened for the summer of Pine Knot Marina with pylons for slides, jumping, skips and challenging obstacles.
Big Bear Water Sports School, the company that runs the water park, said it’s an exciting and interesting way to get wet with Big Bears.
“It’s like a miniature version of the TV show “Wipeout,” but it offers the opportunity to enjoy all ages on every mild scale,” said Brian Boyd, owner of Big Bear Watersports School. “We tell our guests, ‘You’ll get wet, you’ll swim, you’ll enjoy,’ and certainly they do. ”
Some features include Mt. It includes a 12-foot-high platform called Hood. This allows participants to first step into the lake.
The water park opens daily, but is divided into separate sessions at the top of the hour, with the first session starting at 11am and the last session at 3pm
Participants will be required to pay $19.95 per session using the option of booking in advance or walk-in. You will also need to wear a life jacket.
The water park will remain open until September 1st.
