Destroying Update: Sean: “Diddy Combs was convicted of a prostitution-related crime, but acquitted the most serious conspiracy charge that could have put one of hip-hop’s most famous figures behind his life.
The ry judge found guilty of Combs Counts 3 and 5 (transport to engage in prostitution). This is not a crime of 2 and 4. Both of these were charges of forced, fraud, or forced sex trafficking.
After they read the verdict, Combs reached out in a prayer movement, looked at the ju judge and hugged his defense attorney, Tenny Jelagos.
The sentence comes the day after a panel of eight men and four women told a US district judge that the most complicated charges in the trial, the maximum potential sentence of prison, and that they were hanging on conspiracy charges for assault.
In a memo to the court late Tuesday, the ju judge said that “inevitable opinions on both sides” among some ju judges had prevented the group from reaching an unanimous verdict on alleged conspiracy to assault.
They were told to continue deliberation. Subramanian agreed to the prosecutors and the Combs defense team that under 13 hours of deliberation could have given up on everything and reaching the consensus of all counts.
Ju-Advisor’s decision on other charges – two counts of two transports to engage in sex trafficking and prostitution – has not yet been revealed. They agreed to four of the five crimes.
Sex trafficking fees will be charged a mandatory minimum prison sentence of 15 years and a maximum life sentence. Transportation engaged in prostitution has been sentenced to the highest prison sentence for 10 years.
The disclosure of the ju judge’s memo regarding the partial verdict seemed to have made the defense attorney and his clients feel even before being read in public court by the judge.
Early in their deliberations, the ju apprentices asked to review testimonies from Diddy’s former longtime girlfriend, R&B singer Kathy, and from Daniel Phillip.
Prosecutors say Combs forced two girlfriends into a drug-fueled sex marathon along with a male sex worker.
The lawyer for the founder of Bad Boy Records claims that prosecutors are trying to criminalize Combs’ Swinger Lifestyle. They say that his actions, if ever, amounted to domestic violence rather than federal felony.
Combs, who chose not to testify, pleaded not guilty.
