Prolific Hollywood actor Michael Madsen passed away after he was found unresponsive at his Malibu home early on Thursday, according to authorities and his representatives.
He was 67 years old.
Details regarding the cause of death were not immediately available. The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department said there is no suspected foul play.
Deputies responded early Thursday after a 911 call. He was declared dead at home.

Madsen, a brother to actor Virginia Madsen, brought complex characters back to life with Kill Bill: Vol. 1, Reservoir Dogs, Thelma & Louise, and Donnie Brasco.
Madsen, who also published several volumes of poems, was born in Chicago, where he was part of the Steppenwald Theatre Company. His Hollywood career appeared in the 1983 sci-fi techno thriller Wargames.
Madsen, who plays the role of the cruel crime “Mr. Blonde,” was part of Quentin Tarantino’s directorial debut in 1992. The two frequently cross roads in Hollywood. “Kilville: Vol. 1,” “Eight of Hat,” and “Once upon a Time in Hollywood.”
