Florida Rep. Maxwell Frost sparked a fire during the House Rules Committee Committee on Tuesday, hearing one big beautiful bill law, accusing producers of only caring for young children.
On behalf of Orlando, Frost, the first Gen Z member of Congress, sat as a witness to the hearing when he explained that gun violence had shaped his decision to seek office and caused a fuss.
D-Mass. The situation heated up after James McGovern, a member of the group, stated that in Congress there was “more passion and energy” to advocate for revisions than healthcare access for cancer patients. This is an obvious reference to the Medicaid-centric debate on the budget bill.

Leger Fernandez is a party that Democrats pursue “convictions,” and former lawmaker John Lewis and D-Ga. said he knows he’s been beaten by police to help with civil rights before marching across Alabama’s Edmund Petus Bridge and freezing the floor.

Frost said he was caught up in politics at the age of 15 after Sandy Hook fired in Connecticut, and 49 people were a mile away from the Pulse Nightclub where he was killed there.

Foxx postponed the hearing shortly after Leger Fernández ran out of remaining time, but the fireworks weren’t over yet.
