According to some reports, Kenneth Corey, a British actor known for his portrayal of Admiral Piet in the “Star Wars” franchise, passed away at the age of 87.
Corey died at his Ashford home in Kent, and after fighting Covid 19 and pneumonia, his representative, Julian Owen, told the BBC in a statement.
He was first injured his arm and then admitted to the hospital after injuring his arm, according to the statement.
Owens praises Corey’s six-year work group and calls him “one of our best character actors.”
“Ken is a continuous effort on stage, film and television where he plays a huge number of characters, from the Jesus of Brian’s Life in Monty Python to the evil and quirky characters of Ken Russell films, and the Dukes of Veen on Shakespeare’s scale for BBC measurements,” Owens said in a statement.
Among Colley’s extensive acting credits were Clint Eastwood’s roles in “Firefox,” “War and Remembrance,” and “The Rainbow.”
Thirty years after appearing in the hit Lucas films The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi, Colley appeared as a voice actor in “Lego Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Out.”
According to the BBC, Collie, known for her love for gardening, art collections and highway cars, passed away at her bedside with a friend.
