With many planning on spending Independence Day on the beach, health officials are warning people to avoid beaches in Los Angeles County where bacteria levels exceed state safety standards.
Warnings affect the following areas:

Still, that’s not all bad news. The saltwater use warning has been lifted at Santa Monica Beach, located on Wilshire Boulevard, near North Tower 12.
