Officers were hospitalized after the suspect fired fire in LA’s Expo Park area on Saturday.
According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the shooting occurred near West Avenue in 39th place.
It is unclear what led to the incident, but police said the officer was shot by the suspect.
The unspecified officer was taken to a local hospital in stable condition.

The uninjured suspect was taken into custody. The incident is under investigation.
