Officers at Murulieta Police Station have particularly keen eye when it comes to catching disabled drivers.
The department has posted a post on social media reminding residents that their vehicles have specially trained DUI enforcers. Their main purpose is to find and stop the driver with a fault before a collision occurs.
Officer Lindsay, one member of the department, is particularly good at catching these types of drivers. According to a social media post, Officer Lindsay made the 63rd DUI arrest on July 4th.
The 19-year-old driver was found to be “very drunk,” the post said. He also had a felony warrant for his arrest, and he was in possession of an unregistered gun.

“He was arrested at the scene on many charges,” MPD said.
Two other officers at Murieta Police Station have arrested 100 people since their inception in 2025, including arrests of 100 people for driving under the influence, according to the Post.
“There’s really no excuse for DUI driving,” urged the department. “Come call a friend or get a ride share. Rising your life by driving under the influence is not acceptable in Murieta.”
