Households looking for furry best friends are lucky as Pasadena Humanity has abandoned adoption fees for adult dogs and cats this month.
Currently, until July 20th, dogs and cats who are more than six months at Animal Shelter will be exempt from adoption fees as part of the “Hot Dog and Cool Cat” promotion. This offer occurs when animal shelters face peak seasons during the summer.
“Now is the perfect time to recruit cats and dogs because we have a lot of animals that need our loved ones waiting to see our eternal family,” said Sally Hooker, manager of Pasadena Humer Communications.
Dozens of dogs and cats are currently listed for adoption in Pasadena Humanity. According to Hooker, animal shelters have a variety of cats and dog types to help animals with different temperaments fit different lifestyles.
“We have big dogs, small dogs here and beautiful cats that are just waiting for their eternal home,” she said. “So if you’re looking for something from couch potatoes to someone who can ride an adventure, we’re sure there’s someone there for you.”
