Ashley Williams, a longtime ally to former President Joe Biden, met with House investigators in a closed room for nearly six hours Friday as he investigates allegations that a top Democrat aide concealed his mental decline.
Sources familiar with the transcribed interviews said Fox News Digital Williams would not “remember” that she “not selling” various things.
“Examples include whether you spoke with President Biden last week, if teleprompter was used at a cabinet meeting, if there was a discussion about President Biden using a wheelchair, if there was discussion about cognitive testing, if President Biden woke up, if President Biden joined the 2020 campaign, if she was involved in the 2020 campaign, she couldn’t recall anything that she couldn’t remember.
Williams told House investigators that Biden deserves to be president today, sources told him.

In addition to whether senior aides concealed Biden’s suspicions of decline, House Oversight Committee Chairman James Commer. is considering whether the executive order was signed via an autopen without a former commander in the knowledge of the Chief.
Previous allegations of fraud have been denied by the former president’s allies.

However, Republican investigators point to the June 2024 debate and subsequent media revelations that there are more concerns about fitness to his office than previously known from Biden’s inner circle.
But Williams claimed he was in charge of himself during the debate, sources said.
The former White House aide said nothing to reporters as he went in and out of the committee’s meeting room for a voluntary interview.
Fox News Digital contacted Williams’ attorney to explain the event in the room.
It was a staff-led meeting, but Rep. D-Texas Jasmine Crockett stopped short for just under 30 minutes to show “solidarity” with the witness, the progressive told reporters.

“I think it’s important for me to show up because if they’re going to file a complaint about a former commander about a chief, they want to make a terrible claim that they’re continuing their wages.
When asked by Fox News Digital if the interview was still ongoing while she left, Crockett replied, “We’re still ongoing. I’ll leave early. I have to get to something else.”
As the house probe gets hot, he says “I never worried” about Biden’s mental state before.
A source who spoke with Fox News Digital said that Crockett came during the GOP questioning session and did not ask questions. Fox News Digital contacted her office for a response.
Williams is a longtime Biden ally who has returned to supporting Jill Biden, the inverted family during the Obama administration, according to a 2019 Biden staff profile.
Williams later worked for Biden’s 2020 campaign and presidential transition team. After serving as his travel supervision, she was hired by the White House as the deputy director of Oval Office Operations and a special assistant to the president.

According to her LinkedIn page, Williams ended his White House term as a president’s assistant, senior adviser to the president and senior adviser to Strategic Outreach.

In particular, Williams works as a former leader as a senior adviser to former President Joe Biden, according to his social media page.
She was summoned to the House Oversight Committee last year during a Republican investigation into Biden’s cognitive health, but GOP investigators say it prevented the former White House from giving her information.
Democrat officials are third parties appearing in front of committee investigators in recent weeks.
Former Biden White House doctor Kevin O’Connor appeared in a sworn deposit Wednesday after being summoned to Comer.
