The masked immigration agent appeared at the facility this week in conflict with staff at a San Bernardino County medical facility and ran to the facility to prevent landscapers from being detained.
According to a video obtained by KTLA-TV, staff at the Advanced Surgery Centre in Ontario on Tuesday told two agents to leave because they had no warrants to go to the property. The immigration and customs enforcement agents were trying to detain Dennis Gillen Solis, 30, and two other landscapers who worked outside.
“You guys need a warrant to get here,” you can hear one of the staff telling the agent.
In the video, Gillen Solis is asked to hold the entrance and exit of the surgical center and present an identification to the agent. The agents then pulled Gylentholis out of the doorway and took him into custody.
In a statement, Tricia McLaughlin, a spokeswoman for the Department of Homeland Security, said ICE agents were “trying to arrest two illegal foreigners.”
“The clearly marked ice bulletproof vest officers approached the illegal foreign targets when they left the vehicle,” the statement said. “One of the illegal aliens, Dennis Gillen Solis from Honduras, fled on foot to avoid law enforcement. He went near an Advanced Surgery Centre in Ontario, where hospital staff attacked law enforcement and drugs. “Take-up.” ”
Ontario Advanced Threkker Centre could not be immediately contacted for comment.
The incident occurred amid an extraordinary immigration enforcement effort by the Trump administration in Southern California. Thousands of undocumented immigrants – many without criminal history are detained in workplaces, courts and public roads.
