Protesters lined up outside the Turning Point USA Student Action Summit in Tampa Bay, Florida Saturday afternoon, denied President Donald Trump’s agenda and crackdown on illegal immigration.
The Tampa Police Station (TPD) confused a brief brawl between protesters and TPUSA participants.
Police were on the scene as confrontation with protesters blooded one protester in the street.
The conservative meetings over the past few days featured comments from co-founders Charlie Kirk, Fox News’ Greg Gutfeld, Defense Secretary Pete Hegses, border area Tom Homan and Donald Trump Jr.

Protesters had great indications that they would “take Trump’s agenda down,” but one man in a “strong public school” t-shirt had a big model of toilet paper above his head.
The message read “TP for the US: When History Gossips, When You Flash It” and “100% Whitewashed”, plastered protest signs and trolled the ongoing conservative treaties.

Saturday’s demonstration comes as US Immigration Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents reached a boiling point following a protest that delved into the Los Angeles riots last month.
But the message was much broader this weekend as protesters held signs and chanted on a variety of issues, ranging from the “free Palestine” chant to the “campus iceless” posters opposed to ice attacks that rejected war in Gaza and targeted illegal immigrants.

After marching outside the TPUSA summit and confronting young conservative attendees, the protesters returned to city hall for a speech.
According to a protest flyer via Mobilize, “Turn the Tide against TPUSA – Reject SAS 2025!” hosted by Tampa Bay students for the student activist organization Democrat Society (SDS), and volunteers were organized by indivisible.

Protesters organized to “advocate for LGBTQ+ and reproductive rights” have refused to censor schools, “requesting an end to apartheid deportation and the US aid,” and “rejecting white nationalism,” according to the flyer.
