President Donald Trump is expected to return to his elliptical office in 26 weeks to make a “large announcement” related to Russia, hold talks with the NATO chief, take part in the Pennsylvania summit and participate in the summit as the world’s leading American race in artificial intelligence.
July 13th marks the first anniversary of Trump’s first assassination attempt during the 2024 presidential cycle. Trump spent an anniversary at his home in Bedminster, New Jersey, before traveling to the FIFA Club World Cup final at MetLife Stadium in Garden State with First Lady Melania Trump.
Trump is expected to return to the White House on Sunday evening and spend another swirling week.

Meet the NATO Chief
Trump will meet with NATO Executive Director Mark Latte this week after the US president said last week that the US is selling arms to NATO allies in order to continue its fight against Russia and be handed over to Ukraine.
The NATO chief will appear in Washington, D.C. on Monday and Tuesday to meet with Secretary of State Marco Rubio, Secretary of Defense and Secretary of State Marco Rubio, according to the Associated Press. However, details about the meeting’s addition have not yet been made public.
Republican South Carolina Sen. Lindsey Graham said on CBS’s “Face the Nation” on Sunday that Ukraine can see an influx of weapons. Russia first invaded Ukraine in February 2022.

“In the coming days, we will see weapons flowing at record levels to help Ukraine protect itself,” Graham said on CBS “Facing the People.
“One of the biggest miscalculations Putin has made is playing Trump, and in the coming days and weeks, there will be a great deal of effort to get Putin to the table.”
Trump and Latte recently met for a summit in the Netherlands in June. There, the NATO chief demonstrated the creation of a blossoming friendship with Trump.
“Major” Russia’s announcement
Last week, Trump teased that he will make a “big statement” about Russia in the coming days as the NATO meeting prepares to kick off this week.
“I’m disappointed in Russia, but I’m seeing what will happen in the coming weeks,” Trump told NBC last week.
“I think I’ll make a major statement in Russia on Monday,” he added without elaborating.

Graham said in an interview on “Face the Nation” on Sunday, “On Turning Points.” [the Russian] Ukrainian invasions are coming as Congress works to impose new economic sanctions on Russia to help end the war.
“For months, President Trump tried to seduce him. [Russian President Vladimir] Putin to the table of peace. He places tariffs on countries that allow fentanyl to come to our country, and other countries that allow for bad behavior. He keeps the door open regarding Russia. That door is about to close,” Graham said Sunday.

Trump heads towards the Energy and AI Summit
Trump will head to Pittsburgh on Tuesday to host Pennsylvania Republican Sen. Dave McCormick’s first Energy and Innovation Summit at Carnegie Mellon University.

The event will focus on the US power grid. The US bids to win the AI race against China and aims to promote Keystone State as an ideal resource that will help drive the country’s future with AI and energy.
“The US needs to win the battle of artificial intelligence. We have to stop China. We have to win this war for control in AI. And the way to win the war for control in AI is to win the war for control in energy. So our focus is to focus on more production in the US.”
“In the past few years, energy demand has only increased by around 2.5% per year. We expect energy demand to rise by 25% over the next seven years. The question policymakers must answer is, “Where does energy come from?” I think it should come from the US,” Somers added.
The event is expected to attract protesters, and President Carnegie Mellon is calling on the school community to continue its history of “constructive engagement” with the president throughout the “political spectrum.”
