The hard drive containing Beyoncé’s unreleased music was stolen from the Atlanta choreographer’s car rental, police said Monday.
The alleged theft occurred in a parking lot east of downtown Atlanta on the night of July 8, according to an incident report from the city’s police station.
Choreographer Christopher Grant told authorities that the windows on his Jeep Wagoner’s trunk were damaged, leaving two suitcases and a hard drive in unreleased music.
The hard drive also includes watermark music, show footage plans and a set list for the past and future, the report says.
Beyoncé’s representative, who is playing her fourth and final show in Atlanta on Monday, did not immediately respond to requests for comment.
According to the report, Grant told police he was with Beyoncé’s dancer at the time of theft.
Authorities tracked the laptop from the SUV, the report said, and they collected fingerprints from the vehicle running with a pair of airpods allegedly taken from the Jeep.
A camera at the entrance to the parking lot captured the incident, the report said.
In a news release, the police department said theft squad has obtained an arrest warrant for the suspect who is not in custody.
The release did not identify him.
