Health and Human Services (HHS) Director Robert F. Kennedy Jr. fired two of his top aides.
The biography of his Chief of Staff Heather Frick Melanson and Deputy Chief of Policies Hannah Anderson are no longer portrayed on the department’s leadership page.
“Committee Kennedy has changed leadership within the Secretary’s direct office,” a HHS spokesperson told Fox News Digital. “As soon as effective, Matt Buckham will be chaired.”
“Buckham is currently serving as Kennedy’s White House Liaison with the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, oversees recruitment and onboarding of political appointees across the agency. He brings valuable experience in HR strategy and organizational management to this new role,” the spokesperson added.

“Secretary Kennedy thanks the leadership who honors their service and looks forward to working closely with Buckham. The department continues to move forward with its mission to make America healthy again,” the spokesman said.
Melanson is a lawyer who previously served in multiple top roles for the HHS during the first Trump administration.

She was previously an HHS acting advisor before becoming a supervisory secretary for administration, and ultimately a senior advisor to then-HHS secretary, Alex Hazard.
Before joining HHS for the first time, Flick was a lawyer for the Dhillon Law Group. DhillonLawGroup was a company founded by Harmeet Dhillon, whom Trump tapped this time to become his attorney general this time.

“Heather Flick is outstanding and becoming Robert F. Kennedy Jr., the Department of Health and Human Services Secretary, will definitely help,” former Trump national security adviser Michael Security Advisor said in an X post after news of Flick’s new role.
