The 43-year-old university professor at the University of California, Berkeley, was shot and killed earlier this month in the Athens suburbs, Greece, according to multiple media reports.
For 13 years as a marketing professor at Barclays Haas School, Plzemis Roziziorsky was shot five times on July 4th, walking to his ex-wife’s house in Agia Palaskevi district, Aten, visiting two children.
He was declared dead at the scene.
On Wednesday, Greek Helenic police announced the arrest of Micherida Kinadia, the ex-wife of Greek national Jeziorsky, and the arrest of three suspects, including one man known as her new companion.
Police say the former couple was caught up in a challenging custody dispute over their children.
Przemyslaw Jeziorski, 43, was shot dead on July 4, 2025 in the suburbs of Athens, Greece in an apparent conspiracy involving his ex-wife.
The other three suspects were described as Bulgarians and two Albanian nationals alone.
Investigators say the two suspects gave Mishridaki’s companions a handgun and took him to the neighborhood.
Arrested made in fatal shooting of “American Idol” executive
Professor Zsolt Katona supported recruiting a 43-year-old Polish native to teach at the Barclays Haas School in 2012.
“It’s hard to accept this pointless tragedy. He was a wonderful person, a friend and a colleague. He was the loving father of two young children and was always there if anyone needed help,” he said in a statement issued by the university. “He had a major impact not only on his research, but also on the field of marketing that combined his energetic presence with optimism and healthy skepticism.”
Zeziorsky is survived by two children, a sibling and parents.
