Police and agents who flocked to the Brentwood home with alcohol, cigarettes, firearms and explosives, were arrested Wednesday.
Law enforcement officials were alerted by neighbors along Rockingham Avenue and Sunset Boulevard early Wednesday, and arrived to arrest a man accused of impersonating a firefighter in the middle of a Palisade fire. The Los Angeles Fire Department said the incident occurred on January 16th.
Currently, Brentwood residents face at least 12 claims, facing incidents dating back to 2023 and recent incidents as in May this year. The individual was safely detained.
The LAFD confirmed earlier this year that an illegal firetruck was about to enter the fire zone during its battle with the Pallisard fire. Neighbors said that a fire truck from the 80s had been parked in the residence for quite some time.
In January, there were allegations that the two had attempted to enter a checkpoint limited to emergency crew members. It is unclear whether the incident is related to Brentwood’s arrest.
The Brentwood man is being held without bail. It is unclear whether there is a lawyer who can speak on his behalf.
