The Justice Department confirmed Monday that Obama-era officials had been referred to National Intelligence Director Tarshi Gabbard in connection with the “Manufactured and Politicized Intelligence Report” to create a story about Russia trying to influence the 2016 presidential election.
The Justice Department declined to comment further, but confirmed that the department had been referred to Fox News.
Gabbard released uncategorized documents on Friday. It is reportedly that then-President Barack Obama and his national security team laid the foundations for a long-standing Trump-Russian collusion probe after Trump won the election in 2016 against former executive director Hillary Clinton.
“Their goal was to take President Trump and destroy the will of the American people,” Gabbard posted on Crime Introduction X on Friday. “No matter how strong it is, everyone involved in this conspiracy must be investigated and prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. The integrity of the Democratic Republic depends on it. We hand over all documents to the DOJ for criminal referrals.”

Gabbard joined Fox News’ Maria Bartiromo Sunday to detail the evidence revealed in the case. She said that after the 2016 election, Obama-era officials showed “overwhelming” evidence that they laid the foundations for the long-standing Trump Russia conspiracy probe.

“The meaning of this is frankly not historic,” Gabbard said on Sunday.
“The more than 100 documents released Friday provide evidence of how this unpleasant plot was directed by President Obama just weeks before he left after President Trump was already elected. This is not a Democrat or Republican issue.

Following Gabbard’s revelation, Trump shared a video to his social account of truth, vowing that “no one is beyond the law” showing a small number of Democrats, including Obama. Later in the clip, Trump and Obama are shown sitting in an oval office before Obama is arrested while Trump’s song “YMCA” is played in the background.

Additionally, Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) will also release confidential documents related to the 2018 DOJ Inspector General Report on the handling of investigations related to the 2016 presidential election, Fox News confirmed Monday. Grassley explicitly declassifies the appendix of a report that Fox learns to focus on Clinton’s email investigation.

Hillary Clinton was investigated by the FBI because she retained information classified as a private mail server at home when she served as Secretary of State under the Obama administration. James Comey, then-FBI director, publicly said Clinton mishandled the classified information but refused to recommend prosecution.
